Atlantic Animal Clinic Services
Take comfort in knowing that when you are away, our kennel staff is giving your pet the attention that they would receive at home. We provide them with all they will need during their stay.
Please make reservations for boarding and know that all animals must be up-to-date with all their vaccines. We ask that you bring your pet in flea and tick free, otherwise we provide all they will need during their stay!
DURING HURRICANE SEASON
- Our clinic is in an evacuation zone. We evacuate for ALL category hurricanes.
- You must have a “backup” plan. If you are unable to pick up your pet(s), you MUST provide us with a phone number of someone whom will accept responsibility for your pet(s). If you do not have anyone, we will be unable to board your pet(s) at our facility, however we will be able to give you alternative boarding facilities that are not in an evacuation zone.
- Please ask about our payment policy or see our payment policy’s page, should your pet need to be picked up by someone else.
Do you have to go some where and are not comfortable leaving your pet alone for the day? Well feel free to leave your pet with us for the day. Our friendly kennel staff will take care of your pet like it was their own.
Includes a nail trim, anal gland expression, and ear cleaning. Medicated baths, as deemed necessary by the doctor, may be provided for skin issues. Ask our staff about the frequent baths program.
We offer a variety of services to care your pet and their health. Surgery can be a stressful event for your pet as much as for you. That is why we require per-surgical testing which includes a blood work profile and electrocardiogram testing. This is to insure that your pet is healthy enough to under go anesthesia. It gives us the opportunity to make adjustments to the anesthesia if needed, and take extra precautions to provide the best and safest health care for your pet.
Surgical Dental Cleaning
Dental care includes anesthesia, oral assessment, ultrasonic scaling, polishing, and OraVet sealant. Ask our staff for preventive care and products to maintain your pets newly polished teeth.
Non-Anesthetic Dental Cleaning
There is another option to having a sedation dental. Non- anesthetic dental cleanings allow your pet to be fully awake at the time the dental cleaning is performed. Your pet must be evaluated by our doctor to insure that he or she is a candidate for this type of cleaning.
Our facility is equipped with an in house X-ray machine to allow for quick internal radiographic images.
Wellness and Immunization
Our goal is to keep your pet healthy and happy. We tailor our treatments to benefit your pet’s current health condition. We offer wellness exams and diagnostic testing. Immunizations are an important part of keeping your pet protected from viruses. Although diseases like Feline Distemper, Leptospirosis, Parvo, and K-9 Influenza are not actively in the news, they are out there. These diseases are kept under control because people vaccinate their pets. If you would like to know more about these vaccines, please go here.
We recommend microchipping to all our clients. It is a sure way to help your pet find their way home. The microchip that we use meets the International Standards Organization (ISO) requirements. This means that you can travel anywhere around the world and be assured that an ISO complaint scanner well read our microchip.
We know how hard it is to say goodbye to a beloved pet. Our caring and compassionate staff will be there to help you and your pet through this difficult time. You always have the option to be with your pet at the time of euthanasia, if it is too difficult to be with your pet at that time, know that our caring staff will take good care of him or her.
